Winter Class Party - Note the time: 1:30 - 2:30

This year, the annual 5th grade Winter Party will be held from 1:30 - 2:30 in the Cafeteria! This is a change from previous years, in order to allow time for clean up. Feel free to join your child for holiday fun! A link to pre-register was attached in the Smith campus Smore. Please email your child's homeroom teacher if you have any questions!

Multicultural Night - January 24th - 6:00pm -7:30pm

Smith is a great community with many diverse cultures and at our annual Multicultural Night we showcase this amazing diversity - but we need your help to make it a success!

If you are interested in hosting a country table or want to learn more about how you can help, please complete this form as soon as possible and a member of our committee will contact you with more information.

Symphony Field Trip

Smith Elementary Fifth Graders will attend the Plano Symphony concert on Feb 19, 2019. See the document below for more information. We will send a paper copy of this home after break. Signed permission forms are due January 29, 2019

Headphones in Art

With your permission, our lovely art teacher, Mrs. Pitts, is now allowing fifth grade students to listen to school-appropriate music on their devices in Art in efforts to inspire creativity and promote artistic focus. This is completely optional. If your child brings a device to school and you do not feel comfortable with this, please notify Mrs. Pitts.

The art days for each homeroom are as follows:

Redburn: Monday

Baril: Wednesday

Fariss: Thursday

Madden: Friday
