Christianity is a type of religion that worships Jesus. Those that practice Christianity are called Christians. Christians believe that Jesus died for their sins so they can go to heaven. Special traditions or sacraments include Baptism and Communion. Communion is when Christians drink wine and eat bread symbolizing the Body of Christ crucified to wash away our sins. Christians typically worship Jesus in Church. Worship leaders are called Pastors. Their Holy Book is called The Bible. The Bible has stories and prayers in it so Christians can pray to Jesus. Christians celebrate Easter and Christmas. Christmas is when Jesus was born, Easter was when Jesus rose from the dead. Bethlehem was where Jesus was born and Jerusalem is a holy place to Christians.
