Meet Dr. Adjei-Barrett

Dr. Adjei-Barrett is a multilingual cosmopolitan who has lived on four different continents. Her over three decades of mobility from Africa, Europe, South America, and North America has turned insurmountable life’s challenges into discovery opportunities.


She is currently enjoying an empty nest with her husband after they raised three children in Niagara County. Her absolute favorite past times involve reading, hiking, and spending time with family and

friends.


Dr. Adjei-Barrett completed her undergraduate work in Foreign Language Education at the State University of New York at Buffalo State and was conferred with a Ph.D. in World Language Acquisition at the University at Buffalo. Dr. Adjei-Barrett has provided extensive training in Cultural Competence and Culturally Responsive Pedagogy to schools, universities, social service agencies, and businesses around the globe.


As a pioneering woman in the world of education, Dr. Adjei-Barrett has helped thousands of

students achieve academic, professional, and personal success and has energized them to

THRIVE through her interactional research methodology. Currently, Dr. Adjei-Barrett is president of and founder of Global Partnerships Inc.; a non-profit organization whose goal is focused on building sustainable infrastructure in developing countries. She is also a world language educator and an adjunct professor. She actively serves on the Board of Directors for several educational and progressive organizations.
