Do YOU know what you're eating?
GM Foods, good or bad?
What is genetic engineering?
Genetic engineering is the process of modifying or changing the characteristics of an organism by manipulating its genetic material. The goal of this process is to add a gene to the organism that is not already found in the organism. Genetically engineered food comes from plants or animals that have had genes from other plants inserted into them.
Tomato
This tomato will be injected with un-natural genes.
GM Tomato
These tomatoes aren't fully developed, so to speed up the process they are injected with genes.
Real.........or nahhhh?
At this point you don't know what you genes you might be eating, unless the tomato has been labeled as GMO.
SAY NO TO GMO
What part of "NO GMO foods do you not understand?"
It is MIND-BOGGLING that companies/government think it's okay to inject organisms with genes.Think about it, you have no assurance the food you are eating is organic! EWWW!!! These genes are uncommon to our daily diet and can cause harm. In some countries, like the U.S.A., it is not mandatory to label the GMO produced food. If you don't grow it yourself, DON'T eat it!
