Maine Day
Thursday, March 16
Next week is Maine Day! We have many exciting events in store for our students. Below, you'll find our Maine Spirit Week themes. Our featured speaker on Maine Day is former NFL player, Matt Mulligan. He and his wife have written a book, JUST A KID FROM MAINE. Their company, McSea Books, will be on site should your student want to purchase one of their many titles.
All grade three, four and five students will have a customized grade level program.
We still need donations for our volunteer luncheon.
If you would like to send something for our volunteer luncheon, you can find the sign up HERE!
Weatherbee Virtual Talent Show
Our culminating activity on Thursday will be a WB virtual talent show. We're looking for short videos from our students to celebrate our home grown talent! We hope that you'll consider sharing. It can be from a game, a family trip, something recent or created. You can still submit until Monday morning!

RSU 22 Rock Your Socks Day March 21, 2023
Every year, on March 21, people all around the world come together to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day by wearing brightly colored, mismatched socks. March 21 is symbolic because people with Down Syndrome have 3 copies of their 21st chromosome. Socks were chosen because the karyotype of DS chromosomes actually looks like mismatched socks! We hope you'll join us and wear mismatched socks on March 21st to bring Down Syndrome Awareness to our community!
