Park Place Cheer Camp

Calling all 8th graders! Are you interested in trying out for co-ed cheerleading at Monroe High School? With Cheer tryouts happening on April 21st, we want you as prepared as possible to do your best! Ms. Watson will be holding a 1-week Cheer Camp here at Park Place from March 27th-March 31st from 2:30-4pm each day. Students will need to have their own rides home, and come in athletic attire that they can move and bend in comfortable, athletics shoes are recommended but not required.

Reminder for class of 2027

ONE MORE WEEK! Reminder to Class of 2027 parents to be working on the “Donations Calendar” that was sent home at the beginning of March. All funds collected will need to be returned to the school on Friday, March 31st at the PTO Student Store. A MHS swag bag prize will be awarded to the student who raises the most money for this FUNdraiser.

Park Place track starts April 10th

The middle school track season starts on Monday April 10 at Park Place Middle School. Track events include running events, hurdles, long jump, high jump and shot put and discus. Practices are Monday through Thursday from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. Athletic packets must be completed, including a sports physical, to practice with the team on April 10. If your student has already participated in a sport this year, they will not need to submit anything else. For additional information, please contact Pat Mata, Athletic Secretary, at 804-4307.

Congratulations to our Puma Choir who won Superior + at our annual Large Group, it's the highest score possible!

CoderZ League Activity At Park Place


PPMS students are using all STEM skills (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) in this optional CoderZ League activity. Through a series of missions and challenges, they programmed a robot in a virtual simulation. The goal of every team is to earn the most points and advance through the three stages to become the champions. The excitement and enthusiasm for learning was so fun to see!

MHS Spring Break Baseball Camp

Monday, April 3. 9-11:30 AM and Wednesday, April 5 9-11:30am

CAMP DESCRIPTION: Please join us for the 2023 Monroe Baseball Spring Break camp hosted by the high school boys’ baseball program. The 2-day, 2.5 hour camp will consist of fundamental practice in throwing, catching, base running and hitting but will also consist of skills contests and fun games. The current boys’ baseball players will be our special guest coaches along with all of our Varsity coaches for this spring camp, and we are excited to have you join us for this fun event.

Camp is open to both Boys and Girls

Come meet and learn skills from the 2023 Monroe Bearcat softball team on April 9:30am-12pm. The camp will consist of skills & drills designed for the growth and development of players in the 2nd through 6th grade. Players will be grouped upon their age and skill level.
