Method of Instruction for 4th Nine weeks
Knights,
All families should select their preference for instruction during the 4th nine weeks, regardless of what was previously requested. Each student can select on-campus or online for the 4th nine weeks. Declarations must be done by Thursday, March 4th; after the 4th changes to cannot be made.
Picture Day
Note from Mr. Harrison, Yearbook Teacher...
- If your student missed the first picture day in January, there will be another opportunity to have your child’s portrait taken by Life Touch on Wednesday, March 10. 8:20-3:35 pm
- In-person students will take their picture during the normal school day.
- Remote students may come up to the school on that day at their convenience to get their portrait taken. Students must check in with the front office to have their temperature taken as we will remain following all district and state COVID-19 Safety protocols.
- Masks must be worn at all times until the photographer instructs students to take masks off
- Students must remain in district and campus dress code for portrait photo
For those remote learning students who will not be getting their photo taken by LifeTouch, school portraits can be digitally submitted to the Kelly Lane Yearbook Staff through EZPix. An email has been sent out through Balfour Balfour.com (no-reply@balfour.com) that contains a special link to submit your child’s photo to the software.
In this email you will be able to submit your child’s photo to the EZPix software. The personal upload link will have your child’s name and grade. (If you have multiple students at the same school, it should contain all of the names and grades.) At the bottom of the email, there is a handy guide to help you along the way incase you get stuck in submitting your child’s photo. The yearbook staff would like to feature as much of the Kelly Lane student body in the yearbook as they can. So if you are not taking a portrait at the school on March 10th, they highly suggest using this method.
Any questions, comments and concerns can be directed to our yearbook adviser, Garfield Harrison at Garfield.Harrison@pfisd.net
