Is the default health app for iPhone any good?

It depends on what you want to see in a health app. If you are looking for a workout app, then this is not right for you. If you want to see your activity during the day, then this will do that very well. You can see when you are most active during the day and get motivated to be more active. I didn't have any problems with the software, and it is fairly easy to use.
It doesn't set timers for walks, and you need to have an accessory to take your heart rate. It is only for iOS because it is made by Apple, and they don't want anything to do with Android.
This app would be good for the people who want to be motivated to run more, and be more active. However, this is not a workout app and you'll need a different app to do that.
