Teacher Spotlight: Mrs. Baker, 1st Grade Teacher

My name is Jessica Baker, and I was born and raised in Minnesota. My husband and I live in the area and have a 7-month-old French Bulldog named Mac. Our family continues to grow. We are expecting our first baby boy in early March! I love traveling, camping, tailgating football games, and heading to the cabin for the weekends. My husband and I have traveled to 6 continents, 41 countries, and 32 states. We are hoping to continue our love of traveling as we build a family.

Before Shannon Park: I received my masters in Elementary Education from the University of Minnesota in 2015. I taught first and third grade at Dowling Elementary School in Minneapolis Public Schools from 2015-2022. I also taught for a few short months in both Thailand and Germany. I am excited to be here at Shannon Park and look forward to continuing an amazing school year!
