Who should be the first woman

on United States currency in over one hundred years?

2nd graders researched important women in American history. They are trying to determine the first woman who should be chosen by the US Treasury Department to be on American currency!

We just learned the U.S. Treasury Department has chosen Hariet Tubman to be on our $20! However, they will also be changing the back of $5, $10 and $20 to show several women who have been important in our history. SO - who should they choose?
