Regional School District No. 6
February 8, 2018
Congratulations to Natalie Wayland-Smith, who will be recognized in the 2018 Litchfield County Superintendents Association Student Award Program. Superintendent Leone, her parents and I visited her classroom on Tuesday to deliver the surprise announcement.
Student Council met with Mrs. DiNicola, Mrs. Birdsall, Mrs. Layman and Dr. Rossbach to plan ways to support the Fitzgerald family, whose son James has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. Proceeds from the School Store will be donated to the family. The Student Council is also planning a can return drive, with Mrs. DiNicola's help.
Snowy day, internet-free learning.
Free Pizza Lunch from Superintendent Chris Leone
Our eyeglass collection is soon coming to an end, so I just wanted to remind you to drop your no longer being used eyeglasses, sunglasses, and usable cases in the donation box in the lobby. Please ask friends, family, and neighbors! The deadline is the twelfth of February. Thank you to all of those who have donated this year and in the previous year. Let's change the world one pair at a time!
