On behalf of the AGS Staff, we would like wish all of our AGS Moms a very Happy Mother's Day!

We had a great week celebrating our AWESOME AGS Staff during Staff Appreciation Week! We appreciate them everyday, but enjoyed honoring their dedication and hard work this week. The weeklong celebration was kicked off on Monday with a Candy Cart from the principals, Tuesday the staff enjoyed breakfast from the AGS PTO, a Star Studded Lunch was provided by the PTO on Wednesday, a morning snack cart on Wednesday from the PTO, and Friday we wrapped up with Pizza and the annual AGS Staff T Shirt from the principals. The PTO also provided staff members with gift cards. A huge shout out to all of the PTO volunteers that made this week special for our staff.

May 5th was School Lunch Hero Day! We would like to thank our wonderful kitchen staff for feeding and taking care of our students everyday during lunch! They work hard to provide lunch and healthy snacks for our entire student body. On behalf of the students and staff we would to thank Marcia, Paulette, Holly, and Lori for being our Lunchbox Heroes!

Last week volunteers from the AGS PTO cleaned up the flower beds and added 85 bags of mulch throughout the school grounds. AGS would like to give the following PTO members a BIG SHOUT OUT - Daniella Gilmour, Desiree Metcalfe, and Shawn Miller for all of their hard work! These volunteers help to make AGS look great and we appreciate it! We would also like to thank our friends at HOME DEPOT of Fenton for generously donating the 85 bags of mulch!

Last week, we held a Kindness Campaign at AGS. Students were recognized for their acts of kindness with kindness coupons for a chance to earn a free Crumbl Cookie. A total of 50 free Crumbl Coupons were distributed. We also held a kindness poster contest. All students who earned a kindness coupons and/or created a poster were recognized by the principals! Thank you to our partners at Crumbl Cookie of Fenton!
