Report Cards

Report cards will be mailed home on June 17. You will receive an abbreviated version of the report card that includes progress information for the same areas as you received in March. If your address has changed, be sure to contact the office to provide us with an update.

Please Look for Library Books!

Many children have enjoyed checking out books from our Pathfinder Curbside Library but now it’s time to reinforce the importance of responsibility and make sure that ALL BOOKS ARE RETURNED to the library.


If your child still has a book checked out, you should have received an overdue notice. Please help your child look for the book and return the book to school right away. You can return books during our normal curbside library time on June 2 or during one of our curbside materials/technology return events.

It’s important to maintain our wonderful collection so that other children will be able to enjoy the books in future years.

Materials to Return to Pathfinder

In person kids can return supplies in backpacks on Monday, June 14, and technology equipment in backpacks on Tuesday, June 15. (We don’t want the backpacks to be too heavy for kids to carry so we suggest limiting what students return each day.) Students may also return materials during one of our drive-through events in the bus loop:

  • In Person Kids - Wednesday, June 16, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
  • Remote Kids – Thursday, June 17, 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. (extended hours 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. for all students)

If your child borrowed library books, the last day for checkout was May 26. Books can be returned in backpacks or at our curbside drop off on June 2 or during one of our other curbside return events. If your child checked out technology equipment at another school, you may return items to Pathfinder or to your home elementary school. Students can keep all other supplies at home. Your child is welcome to continue using the supplies for fun and learning during the summer. Note that most in person kids already returned items in the pink highlighted boxes. Thank you!

Kindergarten Preview

Will you have a child in kindergarten at Pathfinder next fall? If yes, we would love to meet with you on Tuesday, June 8 from 6:15 – 7:00 p.m. for a Zoom webinar. We will share current information on what school will look like in the fall, as well as helpful suggestions for preparing your child to the transition to Kindergarten. If you have registered a child for kindergarten for next school year, we will send you the Zoom meeting link through a Blackboard Engage email and U.S. Mail. The webinar information can also be found on our Pathfinder website.

Lost & Found

Please check our lost and found for missing jackets, lunch boxes or other student belongings. All un-claimed items will be donated to a charitable organization after school is out in June.

Fall Calendar Reminders


  • September 1 First day of school for grades 1 – 12
  • September 1 - 3 Kindergarten parent-teacher conferences
  • September 7 First day of school for kindergarten


Unless you hear differently, schools will resume regular full time in person schedules in the fall. The school day at Mukilteo School District elementary schools starts one half hour earlier than Pathfinder’s day. Elementary hours are 9:00 a.m. – 3:25 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Friday hours are 9:00 a.m. – 2:10 p.m. Pathfinder’s hours will continue to be 9:25 a.m. – 3:55 p.m. Monday through Thursday with dismissal at 2:40 p.m. on Fridays.
