Questions and Links to prepare for the CBA

Learning Objectives:

Students have been engaged in lessons to develop their understanding of the following concepts:

Lunar Phases - To be able to name and predict the sequence of the lunar cycle.

Tides - To be able to relate the position of the Earth, moon, and sun to their effect on ocean tides.

Seasons/ Day/ Year - To be able to model and illustrate how the tilted Earth rotates on it's axis, causes day and night, and revolves around the sun causing changes in the seasons.

Universe - To be able to describe what makes up the universe and distances.

Stars - To be able to determine the properties that make stars.

Life Cycle of Stars - To be able to describe how stars change over time.

Observing the Universe - To be able to determine what we can learn from space images.

Origin of the Universe - To be able to describe the theory of how the universe began.
