Jackson Elementary Weekly Update
Week of May 4, 2020 #GreatestSchoolonEarth
From Mrs. Cliburn:
Hello Jackson Tigers,
We are getting this distance learning down and our teachers are doing an excellent job with class meetings and google classroom assignments and fun activities. I hope your child is continuing to log in, make contact and engage in these fun activities.
This week we celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week. I believe Jackson has the best teachers anywhere! I applaud their commitment to excellence and their love for their students and our school. Please consider reaching out to your child's teacher this week to let them know how much you appreciate them. Our amazing PTA has a list of ideas for you below to participate in daily. I know this will mean the world to our teachers who are missing their students greatly.
As we wind down this school year, we are looking to continue some of our annual end of the year traditions virtually. Please see below for information regarding the 5th grade promotion, talent show and more, and we will continue to share information with you as we wind down the school year. We look forward to celebrating with our students and you.
Wishing you well!
Jill Cliburn
