Research project Animal Cruely

Is using animals for entertainment considered animal cruelty?
Animals need to live where there born. Keeping animals captive to preform is very wrong , animals cant repopulate when they are separated in cages, and they are abused if they do not preform "good".
Edward had researched that, "Virtually 96 percent of their lives are spent in chains or cages. 11 months a year they travel over long distances in box cars with no climate control; sleeping, eating, and defecating in the same cage. When allowed out, these animals are trained using extreme "discipline" such as whipping, hitting, poking, and shocking with electrical prods."
Edward also concluded "Circus animals are confined virtually all of their lives in barren conditions, while forced to suffer extreme physical and psychological deprivation"
Victory described "There is a sea change going on in our culture about animals and we are coming to recognize the profound depth of animal emotion and thinking and suffering,"
Peta said, "Animals aren’t actors, spectacles to imprison and gawk at, or circus clowns. Yet thousands of these animals are forced to perform silly, confusing tricks under the threat of physical punishment"
These animals are preforming out of fear, i think that animals preforming for entertainment is very cruel to the animals. they are only preforming to be fed or to not be physically punished.
