Warrior Life
It is crazy to think that we are well under way into the month of October. As the cool air attempts to blow in we are excited about all of the wonderful things going on at Warren. This week our choir did a wonderful job performing for their fall concert. Our students sounded amazing. Our Spanish I & II classes created videos of themselves teaching various Spanish concepts that they would then share with their peers. Our Art II classes began their project decorating their boxes adding their personal touch to them.
Our Lady Warriors had another great week. Both 7th and 8th grade teams defeated Terrell in 2 sets. It is fun to watch our girls continue to grow as players and in their character. They will fight this week to keep their winning streak going against Lancaster. Our football teams continue to demonstrate their growth each week as well. The Navy team beat the White C team this week in a tough game. 7th grade B team won this week, but our 7th grade A team could not pull off the win. Our 8th grade B lost this week, but the A team did come out with the victory this week.
Our Warriors continue to push their limits and we are very proud of their efforts in all that they do to represent Warren! Go Warriors!!
Warrior Teacher of Week
This week we would like to recognize Ms. Chelsie Riley as our Warrior teacher of the week. Ms. Riley is new to the Warren family, and has done a great job getting acclimated to our students and campus. She teaches 7th grade Science. Ms. Riley has a genuine desire to help her students be successful in school and in life. She is always at her door greeting her students with a smile and high five, and sends them off with positive words of encouragement. She carries this positive attitude everywhere she goes on our campus. She is always willing to lend a hand when needed. Ms. Riley has only been with us a short time, but has had a large impact on our campus both with our students and staff. We are very fortunate and grateful to have Ms. Riley and her great attitude and spirit at Warren. We appreciate all that she does each day for our students and campus.
Warrior Students of the Week
We would like to recognize Camree Crawford as our 7th grade student of the week. Her teachers describe her as being "someone who works hard in all she does and keeps a positive attitude in every situation. She always lights up the room with sweet demeanor."
We would like to recognize Ihinosen Ohizua as our 8th grade student of the week. A few things that teachers stated about Ihinosen is that "she is a brilliant young woman that is always willing to help others. She is extremely kind and always has a positive attitude. She strives for excellence. Never complains and is always up for a challenge."
We are very proud of these two students and how they display the Warrior Way in all that they do! Great job Warriors!

FISD Upcoming Bond Election
With Forney ISD expected to grow by more than 8,500 students by 2029 – an increase of over 70 percent – the Forney ISD Board of Trustees and District administrators commissioned an Innovative School Facilities Planning Committee to develop a comprehensive bond package to help us better manage this rapid growth.
Their work led the Innovative School Facilities Planning Committee to recommend a comprehensive $623 million bond package to prepare Forney ISD for our fast growth in student enrollment. The Forney ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved this recommendation May 29. Voters in the district can vote for the bond Tuesday, November 5.

Parent Drop Off & Parent Pick Up
Students are asked to walk along side their car until it has made a complete stop to enter their vehicle in order to keep traffic flowing. Also, please make sure to utilize the left lane once you have picked up your student. We have appreciated your patience as we have worked to make this process as efficient as possible.
Student Dress Code
Students will be allowed to wear college, military, Warren, FHS, and/or a solid color hoodie or jacket. All other types of hoodies and jackets will not be allowed in the building.
