Handwriting Feedback Opportunity

As you know, the district purchased handwriting resources for grades K-3 in August of 2014. The publisher, Zaner-Bloser, has asked if any of our campuses would be willing to convene a focus group of teachers to gain insights about the product and its use. We may soon be having another ELA-related adoption in TX, and this could help guide the decisions that are made. Please contact Suzanne during February if your campus would like to participate at your convenience.

Let me know if any of you are interested in this, and I will take names and contact Dr. Newell!

A Few CES Reminders:

  • Don't forget that our next "Visit for Growth and Development" is due by February 19
  • Check in with your PLP Accountability Partner and update PLP's.
  • Twitter- tweet once a day, and read others' tweets.
  • The afternoons of February 17 and 18 are provided for you to hold student-led conferences with your students and parents. Please provide your conference schedules to Sheila and Stephanie (2 copies or 2 emails). We use these for many reasons, but the most important is in order to know when we can lock down the building. Thanks!

Remember you only have one ride through life, so give it all you have and enjoy the ride.
