Certification Exams through Certiport

You have an opportunity to build upon your skill set this summer by registering for certification exams provided by Certiport. This summer, you can request a voucher for the following exams:

  • Microsoft Office (MOS)

  • Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA)

  • Adobe (ACA)

  • Autodesk (ACU)

  • QuickBooks (QBCU)

  • IC3 (Internet and Computing Competency Certification)

Each request must be made one month prior to the testing date,Tuesday July 26, 2016 between the hours of 11:30am to 4:00 pm at Hattie Mae White in the Career Readiness department room 2NE17.

You must register using the Certiport website to create your account prior to the exam. www.certiport.com

There are practice materials available for you on the Certiport website for most exams however there are no professional development courses to provide you with a one on one training to review materials.

Final Exams

•Teachers offering a High School Credit must give students a Final Exam.

•Final Exams are teacher created

–Comprehensive multiple choice

–Essay or Short Answer Responses

–Project Based

•They are 25% of the overall grade.

•They should reflect the content taught in the classroom and represent the TEKS of the course.
