My heart is full!
The adaptability of our MES faculty and staff on Thursday for early dismissal was awesome! You, our wonderful, supportive parents, hung in there with us through the different processes and adaptations!! Thank you! Our beautiful young Mustangs smiled and went with the flow. Bless them! Thank you for sharing your precious children with us!!! As you can see...my heart is truly full. #mesHEART #loveyourpeople
This morning's Parade of Nations was the highlight of our week! The pride and joy of our students and their families glowed through their smiles and eyes as they donned the dress of their countries to join our parade. This is truly a time for bringing other cultures into our school and creating a respect and appreciation for all. Please do join us tonight for our International Night! It is the best free cultural event in the Midlands!!! It will fill your heart!
Please take note that our Extended Registration Day for 4K, 5K, and new to Midway 1st Graders will be on Monday, Feb. 10, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Please do share this information with new neighbors.

Note from health room:
With cold and flu season in full swing, we would like to send a reminder about medication administration at school.
Per district policy, when possible, medications should be given by parents/guardians at home before or after school hours. When medications need to be given at school, they need to be brought to the health room by a parent/guardian. All medications need to be in their original, un-expired container. Prescriptions need to have the prescription label attached. OTC medications need to have appropriate age/weight information on the label. We will have you sign a parent permission form. Prescriptions additionally need the MD signature. Thank you for helping us take good care of your Mustangs!
