Lookism in Schools


There is a school is hosting a Fashion show. They are judging kids on their ability to catwalk, so they also judging them on how pretty they look.

In lots of schools including ours, there are always people who being made fun of because of their looks. Because of the hurtful comments they get, they feel like they are ugly. This should not be happening, we need to stand up and defend people who are affected by lookism.

People expect teachers to be fair to all students, but that doesn't happen every time. Sometimes, even teachers can judge their students. We may not notice but teachers, even in this school maybe judging in how we look.

More attractive children receive more attention and praise in school. Throughout their lifetimes, attractive people are assumed to be more friendly, intelligent, and productive.
