Cougar Courier
Greetings from Dr. Garcia!
January 4, 2020
Our learner attribute for January is thinker. One of the goals we have for our scholars is to think critically about the world they live in. We want them to actively engage in the learning process and to understand that being a thinker is key to solving problems, understanding others and active learning.
On Tuesday, January 7th, the PTSO is kicking off their Biggby Coffee Fundraiser. Coupons are attached to the Courier, on the school's Facebook page, in the school office, and went home with scholars before winter break. Feel free to make copies and share with others! The fundraiser lasts until January 13th.
Winter is here which means snow days are a possibility. Please check out the information about E-learning days in the flyer below. I have also shared a video created by Mr. Gish and the Cougar Cast team about accessing materials on eLearning days.
Girls' basketball and wrestling begin this month. Make sure your scholar is registered on FamilyID: https://hello.familyid.com/
We have a delayed start on Wednesday, January 8th. Remember that school starts at 10 am.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend, and I look forward to seeing all our Cougars on Monday.
Blessings,
Dr. Garcia
