Room 10 Newsletter Happy Holidays
December 8 - December 16
Integrated Learning
During the month of December we will be working on all things related to the holidays. Students will hear the story of The Polar Express, Silver Packages, The Apple Pie Tree, and The Gingerbread Boy. Students will have opportunities to make special treats, work on projects, and create gifts for giving. Children will make and enjoy making Apple Crisp. Student will learn the difference between wanting and needing things and the joy of giving!
Technology
We will continue learning all about coding! The students will be playing a cooperative game with a partner where they get to both "write" and "read" computer code. The code consists of action cards that the students will line up for a partner to follow. All of our coding activities are leading up to the children having the opportunity to code BeeBots to move in various directions starting in February!
