Provider Domain Whitelists

We have received reports of mentors and students not receiving emails from the providers. We recommend making sure your school IT department has the linked domain whitelists added to their email servers and/or content filter. This will ensure emails and course content from these domains will not get blocked and allow students and mentors to receive all the information necessary to login and monitor courses.

Fall count day 2021 is Wednesday, October 6th. We recommend all districts review the rules outlined in Pupil Accounting Manual Section 5-O-D to ensure they are meeting all of the requirements for online learning. If any questions, please reach out to your local pupil accounting office prior to Count Day.

Below you will find a video tutorial on how to run a teacher PIC report on the GenNET Online Learning Portal for your reference.

STRIDE LEARNING - Cengage Course Progress Reports

Due to some changes in how the MindTap gradebook integrates with the PEAK system, their instructional team is instituting a monthly progress report from their teachers to mentors to ensure they have an accurate picture of how students are progressing in their Cengage Courses each month. The first progress report will go out by October 15th and subsequently by the end of every month. Mentors will receive an emailed progress report from the teacher for each student taking a Cengage course detailing the follow information.

  • Students Grade to Date
  • Last Month’s Chapter in MindTap (What chapter they were on)
  • This Month’s Chapter in MindTap (What chapter they are on)
  • Students End Date

If a mentor would like to receive a detailed breakdown of grades by individual assignment, the student's teacher can provide that information upon request.

Looking for Solutions for Tutoring?

GenNET Online Learning is now partnering with FEV Tutor. This online tutoring program connects students with 1-to-1 live professional academic support when they need it, regardless of their core learning environment.

During scheduled tutoring sessions, students will work through a data-driven Individualized Learning Plan with a designated tutor assigned to address each student’s specific needs. The tutors deliver scaffolded lessons and gradually release responsibility from tutor to student to lead the session. All FEV Tutor lessons have been developed by current and former educators to ensure each instructional opportunity incorporates the latest educational research, meets curriculum standards, and uses the most effective pedagogical methods for virtual delivery.
