Friday River Launch

CKH Teacher tips: Do you have a Friday Launch?

The Launch: BIG bang for a little buck!

Having a daily launch allows teachers to speak positive thoughts to our students. It's the last thing they hear us say. We want it to be memorable!

Reflective Question:

How frequently are you launching your students?

  • Be intentional. Set a timer or appoint a detailed-minded student to give you a two-minute warning before the launch. Or add the launch to your lesson plan.
  • End with something meaningful or inspirational: "Today is a great day to have a great day, the choice is yours."
  • Occasionally have different students launch the class with a quote or an encouragement.

Don't underestimate the power a launch can have on your classroom culture. Thank you for investing in your students and for modeling Capturing Kids Hearts! From CKH Teacher tools #11

You are appreciated!
