WEEKLY STAFF BULLETIN

Good morning.

Hopefully everyone was able to enjoy their weekend ; Spring is definitely in the air. Hopefully winter is moving out! We all know as the weather improves, students become more rambunctious . Please make sure to be vigilant with supervision. Two weeks to Spring Break. We've got this!

On Wednesday Christy will be doing a new state software training at 2:45 for about 15 minutes. When she is finished, I am going to give you time to meet in subject areas. I was hoping you may be able to look at the information provided in the newsletter regarding testing and have some discussion about it.

STEM Night will be next Tuesday. I hope everyone will be able to make it. The fifth and sixth grade basket looks great!

Pro-Core Testing will be next week. The results from A to B test were impressive. I am looking forward to seeing the C results. You're doing great things in the classroom and it shows.

Have a great week!

Aim High and Dream Big!!

Flipquiz - Flipquiz provides educators with a quick way to create your own gameshow-style boards for test reviews in the classroom.

NearPod - Nearpod is a classroom tool for teachers to engage students with interactive lessons and assessments that students can access on any device.

GoSoapBox - Your students interact anonymously, allowing them to contribute opinions and questions without worrying about the reactions of their peers. As the teacher, you can see who said what in order to gain insight into personalized learning as well as prevent any inappropriate use.

Quizizz - The Quizizz editor makes it super-easy to create great quizzes in minutes. While your students are having a blast, you are provided with detailed class and student-level data.

Handouts - Handouts is a paperless student/teacher platform for tablet-centered classrooms. It addresses the creation, distribution, collection, and grading of worksheets, printables, homework, quizzes and assignments.

QuizSocket - QuizSocket lets you run a quiz in a class room in real-time. You are asking the questions either verbally, on the board or on slides, and QuizSocket collects the answers from the students.

AnswerGarden - AnswerGarden is a minimalistic feedback tool. Use it in the classroom as an educational tool or at work as a creative brainstorming tool.
