Add Prerequisites and Requirements for the course to help registrants better understand the course.
NOTE: In the description box, please add additional information as needed. For example, we do not add every location for trainings so you may need to add a specific room number. We also do not add all presenters especially if they don’t present on a regular basis. Please list instructors that are not on the list or out-of-district instructors here. SAVE***NEW**** Additional Information - The Brazosport ISD Professional Learning Workshop Norms, Professional Learning Guidelines, and Professional Learning Reminders are now available as a drop down selection. There is only one option on each so you do not have to select them. They will show up in the course information when staff go to register.

SAVEInstructor - If your instructor does not appear in the list, please contact Michelle Griffith, Kristen Demland or Lindsey Blackstock. We can determine if the person needs to be added to the list. We do not always add instructors. If they are not added to the instructor list, please include their name in the description. SAVE
Course Survey - You must put a check in the box if you want a survey to be completed.
Choose Staff Development Standard Begin June 2014
Remember, participants will have 5 days to complete a survey or credit will be denied. ADD A REMINDER TO YOUR AGENDA.SAVECourse Dimensions - Verify that the correct course dimensions have been selected
Linked Courses - This option allows participants to automatically register for a series of courses at once. This would be appropriate if participants were required to attend several sessions. Please contact Michelle Griffith, Kristen Demland or Lindsey Blackstock if you need help with this option.
Course Restrictions - You have the option to restrict courses to certain groups. By choosing more than one restriction category, you may inadvertently restrict people you want to attend a session. BE CAREFUL! For example, if you restricted a course to teachers and paras and then restricted it to 2nd grade, paras will not be able to register because they do not select a grade level in their profile. If you have questions, let us know.
Click the + by Credits and Categories
* Course Credit - In most cases, every workshop should offer SBEC credit hours. Exchange time can be awarded if participants are not getting paid and it is outside of their normal contractual working hours. GT credit should only be awarded with approval from the Advanced Academics Coordinator. If participants are participating in hands-on technology training, technology credit can be awarded. If you have questions, let us know. SAVE
