Weekly Wildcat
October 15, 2021
Dear Sundance Families,
This week our students were introduced to the Zones of Regulation program. Classroom posters were added to each room and students participated in a toolbox activity. Towards the end of the month we will learn about how to address small, medium, and big problems.
Our wildcats are doing a wonderful job following our school-wide PBIS rules! Next week, we will focus on two new areas of our school using our PBIS lessons. We appreciate our student ambassadors for creating engaging slides! At the end of the week, please review the bathroom and library expectations with your wildcat.
I'm excited to share updates on our volunteer policy:
Effective October 18, 2021, during the school day 1-2 volunteers per classroom, indoors/outdoors, per day will be allowed (proof of a negative test or vaccine is required)
Outdoor celebrations with designated visitor area (proof of a negative test or vaccine is not required)
As we roll out these updates, we will begin with allowing our room parents in the classroom. Our families are invited to attend our Halloween parade on 10/29. More information will be shared with our community soon.
