Principal's Corner: Parent Updates & Reminders
Dear Parents and Guardians,
I look forward to seeing our Pandas on Tuesday, January 19th. Please note that there will not be school on Monday, January 18th, in observance of the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday. All students and staff must wear face masks and participate in temperature checks before entering the building. Please also make sure you are staying safe and adhering to social distancing guidelines and wear your masks. Additionally, please be reminded that if you or anyone in your home has tested positive for Covid-19 that a Fulton County Parent Covid Report must be completed. The Parent Covid Report can be found using this link:
FCS Student COVID-19 Report Form (qualtrics.com)
Lastly, please stay connected. Things are rapidly changing and we may have to pivot back into remote learning as the Covid cases continue to rise.
As always, thank you for supporting Brookview. Stay Safe and Stay Connected!
Your Principal and Partner,
Jovita G. Wallace

Brookview Parent & Family Engagement Plan and School-Family Compacts
Greetings Parents and Families,
Attached below, you will find our school wide Parental and Family Engagement Policy, which has been developed jointly with, and agreed on with, parents of children participating in the Title I, Part A programs. This policy was adopted by Brookview Elementary School on October 2, 2020 and will be in effect for the period of 2020-2021 school year. Brookview Elementary will distribute this policy to all parents of participating Title I, Part A children on or before October 15, 2020 and will be placed on the school website.
Also attached you will find Brookview's School-Family Compact, which was jointly developed by our teachers and parents. The compact outlines the shared responsibilities of parents, students, teachers, and administrators for student academic achievement. The compact also outlines how the school and parents will develop a partnership for student success. School-Family compacts will be placed on the school website at the beginning of the year.
Please review this information with your student(s).
