Chasco King and Queen Scholarship

The Board for the New Port Richey Chasco Fiesta would like to present all seniors exhibiting the qualities of a king or queen the opportunity to be recognized as the outstanding individuals they are. Those of royal quality display leadership, self-introspection, personal growth, compassion, ethics, innovation, action, and civic mindedness. We invite all seniors who feel they have these qualities to apply for the chance to be the next Junior King and Queen for the New Port Richey Chasco Fiesta.

Those who wish to apply must create an application including the following:

1. High School Transcripts.

(Grades will be considered but are not the most important factor).

2. A multi-page essay in which you talk about the following.

a. Why you would like this honor.

b. What have you done for your community in the past?

WCAA Volunteer Opportunity

Wesley Chapel District Park is hosting the Gulf Coast Memorial Cup Lacrosse Tournament on November 13 & 14. Ages of players range from 8U through High School. Many of our local schools have students in the tournament - Wiregrass Ranch, Wesley Chapel, Cypress Creek, Land O'Lakes, etc

We're looking for high school student volunteers to help as score keepers, concessions, set up/take down, parking (no money exchanged )and timekeeper and get those student community service hours credit!

Please use the Sign Up Genius link below to choose your time slot. We're working in 2- hour shifts. Sign up for as many as you'd like! All hours will be signed for by a WCAA Board Member after hours are completed.

The Junior Ambassadors of Goodwill (J.A.G.) is a virtual hybrid service program for high school students aged 14 and up. Students can earn up to 22 hours of community service.

Bright Futures Scholarship


The Bright Futures Scholarship testing deadline for 20-21 graduates has been extended to Dec. 1, 2021. Seniors are required to submit the FFAA no later than Aug. 31, 2021, even if all requirements have not yet been achieved.

SAT and ACT Testing

The ASVAB is available to all students interested in career interest and career aptitude testing. Students interested in a career in the US Military should also take the ASVAB as it is a requirement for enlistment. There is no cost to take the exam.
