Celebrated on February 23 to mark the first victory of the Red Army over the Kaiser’s German army. Today it honors all men and women serving in the Russian Armed Forces.

Saint Basil's Cathedral


This cathedral was completed in Moscow in 1561. People visit it for its unique architecture. It is shaped like a bonfire that has been lit. There is not other building like it in the world.

This museum was started in 1764. It has over 3 million items in it. There are six building including the Winter Palace that was once home to emperors.


Moscow Kremlin

The Kremlin is home to the national government. It includes 4 cathedrals and several museums. The museums are filled with national treasures including a 190-karat diamond given to Catherine the Great.

Gorky Park

Half of the Park is more suited for children with rides and other activities. The other half has gardens, woodlands, and interesting buildings.

Popular gathering place for the young people of Moscow. It includes rides and a 3D movie theatre.

This is 2 funfairs in one. One is for young children with the world’s largest big wheel and other rides. The other is for older children with arcades and shooting galleries.
