The Buzz at Westbrook School

From the Principal...

April 8, 2022

Dear Westbrook Families,

Thank you so much to the Westbrook PTO for sponsoring the Kindergarten Art day. Kindergarteners were so excited to go to the art room and visit Mrs. Meyers for a special painting project. Kindergarteners learned the art room expectations, and they were able to see the art and music rooms that they will enjoy in first grade.

Students have been completing their kindness chart for Kindness Month. We will celebrate Kindness Spirit Week from April 25th-29th. Please see this flyer for the list of spirit week attire.

Planning for the next school year begins early. If you would like to request that certain information be considered for your child’s classroom placement, please complete this optional form.

The Westbrook PTO is excited to offer Kona Ice to all Westbrook students on Friday, May 20th. Please complete this Kona Ice Permission Form to indicate if your child can participate. Nutritional information and ingredients can be found at this link.

For your children,

Danielle Crandall

Note from the Nurse: COVID-19 Vaccination Card Information

Dear Parents,

District 57 offers families the opportunity to voluntarily provide their child’s COVID-19 vaccination status. We are asking parents to send a copy of their child's Covid vaccination card to the health office after their child receives their second dose. This is greatly appreciated!

Thank you,

Julie Tworek, RN
