Campus Improvement Project

We are nearly completed with the Campus Improvement Project, Phase 1. We have a list of what needs to be completed. Here is the list of the work which includes the "Music" and "400" buildings:

  • INSTALL WINDOWS (ALREADY PURCHASED)

  • REPAIR ANY STRUCTURAL DAMAGE

  • REPLACE SIDING AND GUTTERS

  • PAINT (INCLUDING LIBRARY)

  • PURCHASE AND INSTALL HVAC UNITS

  • UPDATE THE GYM BREEZEWAY

In order to fully complete the above list, we must raise $150,000. If you are able to give to the Campus Improvement Project, please use the QR code below, or checks are also accepted through our office. We would also welcome any efforts to share this need with others in your circle of influence. Questions or inquiries should be directed to Sherri James.

Thank you to those who have already given to this significant project. You are making a difference to the future of NCCS and its mission!

Pastries with Parents: E.N.G.A.G.E.D. Seven Steps to Raising Christ Centered Kids in a Conventional World

Each month, administration will host a time of community fellowship for parents of children PreK-12th grade. This will be a time of prayer, sharing, learning, and connection, along with some tasty pastries served. Join us Thursday, Nov. 3 at 8:15-9am, for the next Pastries with Parents. Check in at the office and you will be directed to the meeting location.

We are beginning a series, Raising Engaged Kids, available to us through RightNow Media. We will view one segment each month. Through this series we will discuss- How do we equip our kids to live authentic, meaningful, Christ-centered lives in a conventional world? RNM states that this series, "Deeply rooted in Christ-centered theology and backed up by insight from the largest and longest study of over 100,000 members of Generation Z, Raising Engaged Kids equips parents and caregivers with specific tools to see God work in and through our families.

In this 9-part series, you will receive specific and practical insight that will equip you to identify God's purpose for your role and provide you with principles and a process that will transform your parenting and provide you with new freedom and fulfillment as a parent."

If you can't regularly join us during this time, please take time to view the series on your own, as it is an exceptional resource. Every family in our community has access through NCCS to RightNow Media. This is an excellent resource for Bible studies, sermons, and Christian programming.Thank you for allowing us to partner with you in discipling your children. You can find the video series at https://app.rightnowmedia.org/content/details/395510.

NOTE: December Pastries with Parents will be on Dec. 8 at 8:15am.

International Student Program: Host Families Needed

This year we have several international students who will study at our school. It is urgent that we get host homes secured by December for several new students coming next semester. We would like to ask our school community to consider hosting one of these students.

Starting January 24, through mid April, we will welome two 10th grade Japanese girls, who will study in a 3 month short-stay program with us. Click HERE for a bio of these students and let us know if you will host them.

Starting January 24, we will welcome three 11th grade boys from our Christian sister school, VCCS, in Korea. These students will complete the school year and then return for their senior year at NCCS. Click HERE for a bio of these students and let us know if you will host them.

We would love for you to open your heart and possibly your home, to this opportunity. Please pray with your family about being a host family to an international student. Host families receive a montly stipend to cover living expenses for the student. If you feel called to provide a home for one of these students, please reach out to our International Program Advisor Jodi Gill with questions, interest and inquiries.

2022-23 School Verse Passage

Ephesians 6:13-17 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Lost Items

REMINDER: We are asking parents to put their child(ren)'s names in articles of clothing, on water bottles, etc., to easily identify personal items brought to school. We have VERY limited space for a Lost and Found space, so we will not be holding on to items more than a week. We will donate any items to a charity at the end of each week, unless they are clearly marked with a student name and we can get it to the student on the same day.
