PTSA Founder's Day Luncheon

Friday, February 23, was the PTSA Founder's Day Luncheon. This annual event recognizes students who have been given Awards of Excellence for the Reflections Program. Student winners are chosen from all of Huntington Union Council and Dwyer is proud to have 3 recipients this year. All 3 recipients were recognized with plaques and photographed with Marcela Alban, Huntington Union Council President, at the luncheon (shown below). Great job, ladies!!

Stop B4 U Start

7th and 8th Grade students attended an assembly titled "Stop B4 U Start" on Wednesday, February 21. This assembly was sponsored by the Tobacco Use Prevention Education (TUPE). The messages shared by the speakers were about awareness and prevention, staying true to yourself, and about being a positive presence.

On March 21, OCDE partners will be returning to speak to parents about awareness of TUPE, vaping, and marijuana. This event will be in the Dwyer Auditorium at 6:30 PM and is intended for adults. Please see flier below.
