An Unsettling State of Affairs...
We don't make a judgment to them about either of these situations because in the end, we do not have all the facts. We can encourage them to listen, process and discuss with parents at home. Again, what they can see from us is that this is a safe place to ask questions, feel supported no matter what is rolling in their minds and keep them focused on what we are here for...and that is to focus on our schoolwork. Keep them going on their studies and positive with their peers.
My good people, I know the trenches you are in and the delicateness of our jobs at times. We are here to support you as well. I wish I could answer all questions with a right answer, but at the end of the day...I just don't always have them.
Let's really encourage the coin collection for Autism Speaks. I have a jar at home just sitting with change. Bring it in...this is such a worthy and mighty cause.
Have a great week,
Liz
