COURSE VERIFICATION SHEETS
8th grade students was given their course verification sheets during LOOP last week. They are due back with parent and student signature on March 6th. This is your students final opportunity to change their elective choices for next school year.

6th GRADE PARENTS MIDDLE SCHOOL ORIENTATION
SPRING MUSICAL - WILLY WONKA Jr.
Lenape's Spring Musical this year is Willy Wonka Jr., and the performance dates:
Thursday, March 8th - 7:00 Pm
Friday, March 9th - 7:00 PM
Saturday, March 10th - 2:00 PM and 7:00 PM

SPRING SPORTS
Any 7th or 8th grader trying out for baseball, softball, lacrosse, or girls soccer MUST take the IMPACT baseline concussion test prior to trying out. Any 7th or 8th grader who has not taken this test in a prior season must take this test. All 9th graders trying out for baseball or softball who have not taken concussion testing during the 2017-18 school year, MUST take this test prior to trying out.
Concussion testing will take place in the library from 2:40 to 3:30 on March 13th and March 14th.
Track and Field begins on March 12th.
All other spring sports begin on March 19th.
9th GRADE TRIP TO WASHINGTON DC
9th grade will be going to Washington DC on Wednesday, March 28th. The buses will leave Lenape by 5:45 AM, please have your student at Lenape by 5:30 AM. Students will visit the memorials in the morning and museums in the afternoon. The students will need to bring a bag lunch and money for dinner at Union Station. The buses will leave Union Station at 5:00 PM and return to Lenape around 8:30 PM.

DOYLESTOWN LIONS CLUB - EYEGLASS DRIVE
The Lions Club has the "Lions Recycle for Sight Program". Throughout the year, Lions, Leos and other volunteers collect used eyeglasses and deliver them to regional Lions Eyeglass Recycling Centers (LERCs). LERC volunteers clean, sort by prescription strength and package the glasses. Recycled glasses are distributed to people in need in low and middle income communities where they will have the greatest impact. http://www.lionsclubs.org/EN/how-we-serve/health/sight/eyeglass-recycling.php
The drive will end on March 23rd. The Lions Club Recycle glass box can be found in the main office.
