A Few Notes from Mrs. Bervert

Buffalo Families,

On Monday we begin our fourth and final quarter of the year. We are excited to have lots of events planned in this next nine weeks. Here are a few pieces of information to note:

  • Kindergarten Round Up- Early next week Mrs. Howbert will send out a Sign Up Genius link inviting all of our incoming kindergartners to pick a time to come for Kindergarten Round Up. Students will get to come into Berryton, go on a tour, and meet our amazing kindergarten team. More details are headed your way soon.

  • Safety Protocols- In an effort to maintain maximum safety for all students and staff, Shawnee Heights will maintain their safety protocols for the remainder of this academic year. This includes temp checks for all staff and students, wearing masks, washing hands hourly, and social distancing of three feet for students. I've included a recent update from the CDC regarding their newest guidance.

  • Field Day- We are thrilled to be tentatively planning Field Day for May 27th. Wahoo!

  • Cookie Dough Delivery on Wednesday- Our PTO will be distributing the purchased orders of cookie dough on Wednesday from 10-6. We sold over 1300 tubs of cookie dough!

Have a great weekend!

About Me

As an elementary principal I enjoy working collaboratively with staff members to support student learning. I am passionate about continuing to learn professionally, and building relationships with staff and students at Berryton Elementary. When I'm not serving at Berryton Elementary I am usually with my husband and two sons. We can be found at sporting events, cheering on Kansas State University, or just enjoying a movie at home.
