From Mr. R's Desk
Bobcat Nation,
Greetings and Happy New Year!
As we welcome January and the New Year, let us reflect on the following questions.
- What will you remember 2019 for?
- What worked great this past year?
- What was your proudest moment in 2019?
- What was your biggest challenge in 2019?
- What did you learn about yourself?
- Which one word describes your last year the best?
- How will you simplify your life in 2020?
- Other than time and money, what do you want more of in 2020?
- How will you fill in your reservoir in 2020?
- Stepping into 2020, what is calling you? [What will you do about it?]
As we move forward and set new year’s resolutions for 2020, it is best to set specific goals as opposed to vague resolutions.
Example of a resolution: This year I will lose weight.
Example of a goal: This year I will lose 10 lbs.
Example of a resolution: This year I will exercise more.
Example of a goal: This year I will run 15 miles per week.
Example of a resolution: This year I will read more.
Example of a goal: This year I will read 3 books.
The goal should always be to improve, no matter what. No excuses! Whether it be personal or professional goals...let us strive to be better versions of ourselves.
New Year's Resolutions: Facts & Failures
Happy Retirement Mr. Owens.
