This Week: A Wrinkle in Time is in full swing. We are working hard to get through the novel before May 17. Students are encouraged to do some reading outside of class (using their digital copy). There is lots of advanced vocabulary throughout the novel, and students are becoming skilled at determining the meaning of these words and phrases. They are using the context clues provided to assist with this.
Students will continue to write poetry that ties to the novel. They will also be building tesseract models.
Important Vocabulary: infer (inferences), conclusion (draw conclusion), figurative language, context clues, prefix, suffix
