8th Grade Update
October 13, 2018
Dear 8th Grade Families,
Happy Saturday!
This week, 8th grade hosted the most epic bake sale of all time! It filled my heart with pride to watch them work beautifully together to make our first fundraiser a HUGE success. This event featured mummy rice crispy treats, Oreo spiders, epic apple pie, and so much more! Our hype team made sure there was always a hungry crowd lined up and our design team’s attention to creative detail brought the Halloween spirit to life! Together, we raised just over $250 for our 8th grade fund! A big thank you to all families who helped support and a big CONGRATULATIONS to 8th grade for a job well done. I’m so proud of each of you!
Our bake sale was such a success that the HSA invited us continue the sale at our upcoming Fall Festival! This is a wonderful bonus opportunity to raise even more funds for the Class of 2019. This also means we’ll need more parent volunteers to help out during the festival. Please fill out the volunteer form below.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
Love,
Ms. K
Parent Volunteers Needed!
The Fall Festival will be on Saturday, October 27th from 2-5pm. During the festival, 8th grade will be hosting one of our most important fundraisers of the year: the Haunted House! Every year, I ask all of my 8th grade parents to help out in any way that they can. It's a big job and the more help we have, the better! If you are able to help out -- either with setting up on Friday, managing the event that Saturday, or simply sending in donations -- great! Please fill out the Google form you see below. With your help, we can make this year's fundraiser a success!
