Join us for a free dinner and hear about what the PTA will be doing next for your school. Flyers will be sent home this week. Please return the RSVP by Wednesday, January 15th so we can be sure to have enough spaghetti for all who attend!
Young Gentlemen's Club at GES
Greensboro School will be starting a Gentlemen's Club on January 23 that will meet for four (4) consecutive Thursdays from 4:00-5:30p. Invitations have already been distributed to 25 5th grade boys and their parents.
We're fortunate to have five (5) excellent coaches (2 police officers, a teacher, local business owner and a retired administrator). The Club will focus on manners, good hygiene practices, and life skills that will help these young men in life. Guest speakers will be a part of these meetings and include a dentist, doctor and even two students from Lockerman who will talk to the boys about being successful at Lockerman Middle School.
At the conclusion of the four sessions, there will be a dinner in which the student participants can invite guests and practice their manners and new learned skills.
From the Health Room...
Happy New Year the Flu Season is here! Please remember the following rules regarding your children and school:
