The woman moved to the West because they needed jobs. The jobs they did was washed clothes, cook, and take care of children. My journey was difficult because we didn't have enough food for our buffalo and our wagon kept breaking and we had to take stops constantly. If you were to go on this trip id advise you to make sure you have enough food and water for everyone, and have all the right tools just in case if your wagon breaks. During my journey was very interesting but irritating.

Hello, my name is Jennifer Lynn James. I am going on a trip to the West with plenty other woman for the same reason. We are all looking for work, the only work there is for us is take care of children, cooking, and washing clothes. This is one very frustrating trips I've ever been one. Having to stop constantly because are wagon keeps breaking is irritating. Its also very hot and the mosquitoes aren't helping. If you were to go on this trip, I advise you to bring enough food for everyone including the buffalo. I am very exited to see my family that i haven't seen in 5 years.

We have now settle in the new place. Once we arrived it was a relief to walk and not be cluttered in a small space. I also finally got to had a good dinner that my lovely sister made for me and my daughter. I now work for the Haunks, I baby sit 2 boys and 1 girl. They are very kind to me. I wash laundry every day from the older siblings. Another thing I do its cook most days or sometimes Mrs. Haunks does. I visit my sister and her kids at time. My daughter does the same for the Andersons. I hope to go back to my home land sooner or later.
