Hello, Families!


There are so many wonderful events happening at Conners in October. Between the APEX Fun Run, Book Fair, Kona Ice Truck, Parent Teacher Conferences, and the Trunk or Treat, we are excited to make Conners a place where ALL students can enjoy many opportunities both academic and non-academic with their peers. We invite all of you to be a part of the Fun Run on 10/21, and bring the whole family to our Trunk or Treat on 10/26.

Index Rating (No Stars This Year)

We have exciting news! We received our Index Rating from the state and our score is 70.5! If they were issuing Stars, we would be a 4 Star school for the first time in years! We excelled in student growth and closing the achievement gaps. The two categories holding us back from a 5-Star rating are: Chronic Absenteeism, where we received 0 points out of 10, and proficiency, where we received 12 points out of 25. With that said, we are still at 35% chronic absenteeism, where 191 students have missed 35% of school this year already! We can't help our kids have the opportunities they deserve in the world today if we do not bring them up to grade level proficiency and even above grade level. Our scores show that my staff is do AMAZING work growing our students tremendously. Please help us give your kids the education and life that they dream about.

Come hang out with the Conners Community for a spooktacular event. There will 'trunks' decorated and there will be fall festival games as well. We hope you can make it.

The Clark County School District provides necessary supplies for all students in order to meet their educational needs. However, we know that sometimes parents choose to buy school supplies for their child.
