Parents in San Diego and Riverside Counties--
As the Lead of Community Connections, I wanted to reach out to our SD and Riverside families to gain insight in your interests in Park Days and Field Trip Ideas.
We are primarily an Orange County based school, with most of our teachers here in the OC, but we have some teachers and administration that have expressed interest in hosting park days in SD and Riverside counties.
Please take a moment to fill out this survey. It will give us good insight in how to best plan so that we can have great events that serve all our students.

Parents on Course consists of workshops offered by outside guest speakers as well as the incredible talent and wealth of knowledge we have here on staff. Each workshop will be designed to support our parents with some facet of their child’s education and overall well-being. The workshops will address academics, curriculum, social-emotional health, behavior, technology, school knowledge, and many other topics that will engage parents and support them in navigating the educational journey with their child/ren. Please visit our Parents on Course webpage in the Beehively Parent website for a monthly calendar of events and Zoom Links to Access!

To provide our families with sufficient time to review all field trips, ask questions, and coordinate schedules before booking, we will publish our field trip one month at a time with a 1-week viewing period. Field trips will be posted for review the first Wednesday of each month. The booking period will open the second Wednesday of each month.
October 6th @ 10am - November field trips are published for review
October 13th @ 10am - November field trips open for booking
WAITLISTS:
We strongly encourage families to sign up for the waitlist. Waitlists allow us to gauge the demand for popular trips and schedule additional trips for future dates. Families that sign up for the waitlist will be given priority booking for the future trip.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
CHAPERONES
All students must be accompanied on school-organized field trips by an adult chaperone; we do not offer drop-off field trips!
Please make sure to add a chaperone ticket when booking field trips for your student(s)!
Due to limited space and availability, we can only allow one chaperone per family.
Depending on the venue, it may be possible to purchase additional tickets directly from the venue.
We cannot guarantee additional tickets will be available through the venue.
Any tickets purchased directly from the venue may be a higher cost and will be separate from the school field trip.
NON-ENROLLED SIBLINGS
Non-enrolled siblings may attend field trips (provided there are no age restrictions for the particular field trip/venue).
Siblings between 2-4 years old -- Tickets must be purchased on the FTE site.
Siblings under 2 -- If there is a ticket cost for children under 2, the tickets must be purchased directly from the venue.
Please be sure to check the field trip details carefully regarding any age restrictions for the particular field trip before booking!
COVID GUIDELINES
Field trips are considered an extension of the school, and therefore we are required to follow local county and state COVID guidelines, in addition to the venue's COVID guidelines. Masks will be required for all indoor field trips or if the venue requires them.
If you or your student has a medical exemption from wearing a mask, we will require proof of the medical exemption. A face shield with a drape will be required in lieu of a mask for those with a documented medical exemption.
CANCELLATIONS/NO SHOWS
All field trip purchases are final. If you are unable to attend a field trip, please notify us in advance. We cannot provide refunds for cancellation requests or no shows.

Hi, I am a Mother of 4 sons, and grandma of 3 little ones. I learned about homeschooling about 5 years ago and I loved the whole concept. I homeschooled my youngest son and he loved it! I wish I had known this way of teaching when my other sons were little. I love helping families to thrive, and be successful! I am here to help you in any way I can.
