- While virtual students will be expected to attend Google Meets each class period on Tuesdays and Thursdays, they will not be expected to attend Google Meets on any other day unless they are in AP or dual enrollment classes. Students in AP and dual enrollment courses should check with their teachers in those classes regarding Google Meet participation requirements.
Hybrid Students
- All hybrid students will be expected to physically attend school on their normally scheduled days (either A day or B day) but will not be expected to participate in Google Meets on days they are not physically present at school. The only 2 exceptions to these new expectations are for students taking dual enrollment courses or students taking AP courses. Due to the amount of material which must be covered, additional Google Meet requirements may be set up by the teacher. Students in AP and dual enrollment courses should check with their teachers in those classes regarding Google Meet participation requirements.
Wearing a Mask is Required, Parents/Visitors Must Schedule an Appointment to Come Into the Building
Students and staff may provide for their own face coverings or be issued a disposable face covering each day.
“Face Covering” is defined as a covering constructed with multi layered fabric (2 layers or more) that fully covers a person’s nose and mouth and is secured to a person’s head. Loosely folded fabric, bandana-style coverings, t-shirts pulled up to cover the mouth/nose, and “gators” are minimally effective and are not included as a “Face Covering”.
Students and staff will be permitted to wear any face covering meeting the defined specifications. This includes all physical education classes, recess activities, and transition times from buses to the building as well as internal hallways. The only exceptions to this protocol are times where students and staff are engaged in breakfast, lunch and water breaks, or anyone who has trouble breathing (to include preexisting medical conditions) or is unconscious, incapacitated, or otherwise unable to remove a face covering.
The building is not open to the public. Parents must have an appointment to come into the building.
Backpacks and Water Bottles
Students are also encouraged to bring their own water bottles. The water fountains will only be available for bottle or cup fill. Students may not bring coffee/soft drinks in cups into the building.
Travel Lanes for Drivers in the Morning
Afternoon Pick-Up - Please park in any open space in the B lot and wait for your student.
Morning Entry Into the Building - Use Your Designated Entry
Tech Center students who go to the Tech Center first period, may pick up a breakfast by entering entry number 2 (main lobby), pick-up a breakfast and immediately go back out and board the Tech Center bus. If you do not want breakfast, go directly to the bus.
Reminder - No Food Deliveries will be Accepted
