PTO Family Fun Night
A great night was had by all who attended, there were many interesting costumes, families had fun playing BINGO, and the PTO sponsored Family Fun Night was a success. The pirate themed book fair brought out some unsavory characters! Thank you to staff members who supported, volunteered, and attended!
Hallway Displays
I love the artwork and classwork displayed in our hallways. I have a suggestion. Could you write a brief description or caption about the project or objectives behind the work? I enjoy viewing all the creations and I'd like to know a bit about the planning and focus behind the work. Thank you.

Enhanced Fire Drill on November 8th
We will be conducting a district required enhanced fire drill on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, between 9:45-10:30. We'll be starting with a briefing with our Crisis Management Team followed by an evacuation drill.
Citizen of the Month
I'll be honoring the October Citizens of the Month and their family members at 3:30 on Friday, November 11, 2016. Teachers, please send me the name of your October Citizen of the month and a couple sentence description about their outstanding qualities by the end of the day of Friday, November 4, 2016. Thank you.
Math Visits
I had the pleasure of visiting four classrooms during math instruction last Friday with Michelle Luke to see how things were progressing and see if there was any support I can offer. You should be proud of your colleagues because I observed high quality instruction, engaged students, and great thinking on the part of our students. I will continue, as will Michelle, making these visits during math to learn how we can be supportive.
Taco Lunch
Don't forget, Senor French is providing a Taco Bar for lunch on the Friday, November 4, 2016, conference day. Be sure you have time for a lunch break that day. Ole!
