Baltimore City Businesses We Need Your Voice!

Join us for the Baltimore City lobby night on Monday, February 22nd in Annapolis.

Monday, Feb. 22nd, 5pm

100 State Circle

Annapolis, MD

Join us in Annapolis on February 22nd and ensure that your legislator votes the right way on strong clean energy solutions.

We’re delivering a one-two punch for clean energy and cleaner air in this General Assembly session: the Clean Energy Jobs Act and the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Act. By getting both of these bills to Governor Hogan’s desk we will increase our use of renewable energy while decreasing toxic air pollution and greenhouse gases.

At the Clean Energy Lobby Night, you’ll have the opportunity to meet with fellow climate activists in your district and receive the latest political updates on where your legislator stands on our priority bills. Following a training and orientation, you’ll meet face-to-face with your legislator.

By passing the Clean Energy Jobs Act -- and raising Maryland’s clean electricity standard to 25 percent by 2020 -- we we will slash greenhouse gas emissions, create thousands of good green jobs, and power more of our homes and communities with clean, renewable sources like wind and solar. We’ll also invest millions of dollars into job training to help under served communities gain pathways to family-sustaining jobs.

Come to Annapolis to raise your voice for Baltimore, for clean air, and for our climate: RSVP to join the Baltimore City Clean Energy Lobby Night on Monday, February 22nd.

We can and must do better.

In Baltimore City, the childhood asthma rate is twice that of the national average. Our air is polluted because Maryland still receives over 60% of its energy from dirty fossil fuels like coal, oil, and gas that harm public health.
