School Closure Information
Greetings Dunleith Families,
I’m writing to you with updates regarding our two week school closure. The health and safety of our students is our number one priority. We encourage you to follow the CDC guidelines for keeping your family healthy during this time. You can get the most updated information from https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html
We have developed many resources to ensure access to learning at home. We have created online digital resources for your child to continue their work online, and have sent home packets for students.
During our two week closure, please ensure your child is reading at least 30 minutes per day and completing practice activities at home. Students should also log into Schoology in order to participate in online learning activities from their teachers. Students received a green sheet with list of their online login information, in order to access websites while at home.
All students in grades K-5 also brought home paper packets. Students without access to a computer or the internet should work on a few activities or pages each day. Packets were mailed to the address on file for all students who were absent Friday, March 13.
While we know computers and packets cannot replace the impact of your children’s teachers, we do hope students will remain engaged through the platforms we have offered.
