Washington Elementary’s First Annual All-School Read!
Thank you Washington Elementary families and staff. We have concluded our first annual All-School Read. What an exciting and miraculous journey we experienced through the eyes of a china rabbit named Edward.
Keep the read aloud tradition alive at your house. Cuddle up together and read every night. What a wonderful way to spend 20 minutes in an otherwise busy day. As one Washington parent shared, “I had fallen out of the habit of reading aloud with my fourth grader. The All-School Read prompted us to do it again, and it reminded us how much we enjoy it!” Click here to continue reading!

The Washington School Store will be closed was closed this week and will be closed next week due to schedule changes. It will reopen after Spring Break.

High Interest Day!
Washington Families,
Our highly anticipated High Interest Day will be held on Friday, April 27th sponsored by the Washington PTA. On this day all Washington students participate in activities that are different than our normal academic learning. We have presenters from all over the Milwaukee area come to teach students how to dance, play field hockey, become a journalist and even decorate a cake to name a few.
Do you have a special talent you think students would enjoy; knitting, yoga, making ice cream or pizza? These are just a few things that we would love to have our students try. If not, maybe you know someone you think might be interested in presenting to our students on this day.
If you would like to present to our students fill out this form so we can contact you with more information.
Thank You,
The High Interest Day Team
