New Year, New Incentive!
Click here for additional prize cart information!
Please support your child as they work to earn the 40 Dojo points each week! Ask them about their day when you see them each afternoon / evening, help them reflect on their behavior and make changes if necessary, and encourage them to work toward their weekly point goal (40) and quarterly goal (300) to attend the merit event! We appreciate your support at home and are looking forward to helping your child make great choices!
---
If you are willing and able to donate items to our prize cart, we would greatly appreciate your support! We would love to stock the cart with stickers, erasers, fun pencils, snacks, individually wrapped candies, etc. Donations can be sent to your child's teacher with a note labeling them for the "PBIS Prize Cart". Thank you in advance for supporting our students as they strive to make positive choices!

Covid-19 Health and Safety Protocols
- Daily spraying / sanitizing of the building
- Frequent opportunities for hand washing / sanitizing
- Frequent wiping / cleaning of hard surfaces in classrooms and common areas
- Physical distancing during lunch and classroom activities
- Enforcing masks on school buses
As mentioned above, students must still wear a face mask while riding a school bus according to the federal mandate. In order to board the bus - morning and afternoon - students must appropriately wear a mask. Please help us ensure your child has a safe and timely ride to and from school by providing them with a mask each day. We appreciate your support!
If your child has been in close contact with someone diagnosed with Covid-19 and/or is presenting symptoms related to the virus, please keep them home from school. You will want to reach out to the SCS Covid Hotline for guidance at 704-961-5910. While I know no one wants their child to accrue absences, we also want to reduce the spread of this virus and keep our students and staff as healthy as possible.
Covid-19 symptoms include:
- fever or chills
- cough
- snortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- fatigue
- muscle or body aches
- headache
- new loss of taste or smell
- sore throat
- congestion or runny nose
- nausea or vomiting
- diarrhea
